Nomination for Matt Smith
Matt Smith has been nominated for a BAFTA for his performance as the Eleventh Doctor. Although some doubted him after the tremendous David Tennant, Smith has filled The Doctor's shoes incredibly comfortably and continues to impress every week. He's up against some stiff competition including the incredible Benedict Cumberbatch for 'Sherlock' (which was also created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss), but hopefully the new Time Lord will walk away with the prize.
