2. She is hopelessly devoted to The Doctor - without being annoying or repetitive; Rose's emotions are refreshing and endearing. Her farewell in 'Doomsday' (2006) is the most harrowing and touching scene of Series 2; it brings a tear to the eye on every view.
3. 'Super Rose' in 'The Parting of the Ways' (2005) is one of the most intoxicating and incredible things that's ever appeared in the show.
4. She saw the regeneration of the Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) into the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant), so Billie Piper's companion outlived an actor playing the main character; not many if any other companion have achieved this.
5. Not everyone will agree with me but in my opinion, Rose Tyler is the best 'Doctor Who' companion. Period.
I agree 100%! Though Pond is great, it's still not the same as Rose.
